Agency history:

The CBS television special "Women in Country Music" was video taped live at Murphy Center, Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro TN on 6 October 1992. The press conference which preceded the concert was held in the Tennessee Room, James Union Building, on campus.

Scope and content:

This video tapes consists primarily of footage of the press conference held by Tanya Tucker, Lorrie Morgan, Kathy Mattea, Michele Wright, Patty Loveless, Wynonna Judd and Pam Tillis prior to the concert. Also included is footage of the crew set-up at Murphy Center and the start of the sound check and of the hospitality suite prior to the show.
