Provenance:

The original sound recordings were lent for copying by Betty Harper, Accounting Department, Middle Tennessee State University, December 1991. The copying was done by Center audio specialist Bruce Nemerov.
 

Scope and content:

Copies a 1967 audio cassette tape by the Mastermen Quartet, Murfreesboro TN and of a 78 rpm disc, 1956, by the Westview Quartet, also Murfreesboro. An audio log of the quartet personnel and of songs included on the tape prepared by audio specialist Bruce Nemerov follows.
