This program was taped off-air by Middle Tennessee State University's
(MTSU) Office of Equipment Services which holds an off-air taping permission
from the television station.
Agency history:
"Mornings On Five" is produced and broadcast on a regular basis by WTVF
(Channel 5), Nashville Tennessee.
Scope and content:
This program, broadcast 6 July 1991, consists of interviews by May Dean
Eberling with individuals associated with the Uncle Dave Macon Days festival
to be held in Murfreesboro TN the following week-end (12-14 July 1991).
Among the guests were Paul Wells, director, Center for Popular Music, MTSU;
Charles Wolfe, professor of English, MTSU; Patsy Weiler, publicity director,
Uncle Dave Macon Days; and Ramona Jones, fiddler and 1991 winner of the
Uncle Dave Macon Days Heritage Award. A log of the subjects discussed by
each guest follows.
